The Helping Hand Foundation is the Official charity of the KC Brigade!

The Helping Hand Foundation and Higher M-Pact in conjunction with the Kansas City Brigade Arena Football Team have partnered to support “Project Restoring Hope.” Project Restoring Hope is the extraordinary collaboration of our organizations desire to bring pride, respect and ownership to the Charlie Parker Square and Wayne Miner housing developments in Kansas City, Missouri.

The Partnership includes a computer lab, library, playground, educational programs, monthly birthday parties, girl and boy scouts, field trips, after school programs, employment opportunities and of course special encouragement and incentives from the Brigade team and cheerleaders. The “Summer Kick Off” is a highlight for the community. At this event all of the residents are invited to participate.

There is a true sense of community that can be witnessed from the responses from the youngest to the eldest residents. Positive comments abound. The elderly have said that since our presence at the Community Center at Charlie Parker Square there is truly a feeling of community. A police officer commented that we have changed the landscape. Profound words coming from active law enforcement in that area.
